The cottage dates back to around 1850 and is located in a corner of the historical market town of Ormskirk, West Lancashire. Word has it that parts of the house were once used as classrooms and at some point a lock up for boisterous locals! However, be assured it now has a very peaceful ambience and it is a pleasure to work from here.
The Framing Cottage is a very short walk from Ormskirk town centre. If you can find 'The Cricketers' (previously O'Este restaurant) and walk down to the end of Chapel Street, The Framing Cottage is facing you.
By car it is best to park on Brook Lane by Ormskirk Cricket Club. If the drive attached to The Framing Cottage is available, please feel free to use it.
Please do not park in the driveways of neighbouring properties, thank you.
